Overview
This policy explains what information reaches Cozytoo when you visit our site, why we keep it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights. Cozytoo publishes articles in the Publishers Hub category and does not run a store, a newsletter sign-up, or third-party advertising.
What comes to us when you visit
Our hosting environment and content delivery network (CDN) record standard server logs so the site can operate reliably and securely. These logs typically include your IP address, the pages you request, the time of the request, and your browser user agent. They are used for troubleshooting, performance, and to protect the site from abuse.
WordPress may place essential cookies for logged-in administrators. If you are not an administrator, these cookies are not used to track you across other sites. We do not run analytics on visitors and we do not embed ad or affiliate trackers.
Comments on articles
Comments are open by default on Cozytoo. When you post a comment, WordPress receives the comment text and the details you choose to provide (such as name and email address). The publishing system also captures the IP address, browser user agent, and the time of submission to help with moderation and site integrity.
If you opt in when commenting, WordPress may set cookies to remember your details for your next comment on this site.
Cookies and local storage
Cozytoo uses only what is needed for the site to function:
– WordPress session and preference cookies for the site administrator.
– Optional commenter cookies that store the name, email, and (if provided) website you enter so you do not have to retype them next time.
Our CDN or host may set technical cookies for load balancing or security. We do not use cookies for advertising or audience analytics.
How we use information
We use server logs to run the site, measure basic reliability, and investigate errors or security issues.
We use comment details to publish your comment, communicate about moderation if needed, and protect the site from spam or misuse.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Who can see it
Access to any personal data is limited to Cozytoo’s site administrators and the service providers that run our hosting and CDN. Those providers process data on our instructions to deliver the site, cache content, and protect against abuse. We do not otherwise disclose visitor or commenter information unless required by law.
How long we keep it
Comments and their metadata are kept as part of the article record unless you ask us to remove them or we moderate them out.
Server and CDN logs are kept for operational and security purposes and are deleted or anonymized on routine cycles determined by those systems.
Backups may retain copies for a limited period as part of normal disaster recovery.
International data movement
Because we use a CDN, your requests may be routed through or temporarily cached on servers outside your country so pages load quickly and reliably. This routing is automatic and exists to deliver the site efficiently.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to leave a comment. If you have posted a comment, you can ask us to remove it or to correct the name or email associated with it.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to ask for corrections or deletion, to object to certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. We will honor these requests where applicable and within required timeframes.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or other regulator if you believe your rights have been infringed.
Children’s information
Cozytoo is aimed at a general audience interested in interiors and publishing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information on our site, contact us and we will address it promptly.
Security notes
We take reasonable steps to protect the site and the information that reaches it through our hosting and CDN layers. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we monitor and maintain the platform to reduce risk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and adjust the “Last updated” notice at the top of the policy. Substantive changes may also be highlighted within relevant articles or site notices.
